The film is based on an old Thai ghost story. Director 'Nonzee Nimibutr' (qv) toured Thai temples conducting ceremonies to appease Nang Nak's spirit and obtain good luck for the film.
Based by a Thai fable. Mak leaves all for Bangkok and be gravely losses inwardly the Chiang Toong War.
